The Glass Chimney was founded in 1976 by Dieter Puska. Located in Carmel Indiana, The Glass Chimney is a fine dining
staple of Indianapolis' north side. Austrian-born Chef Puska worked nearly half his life to establish the reputation of excellence
that is continued today.
In 2004 Dieter took young Chef's apprentice Adam Waldrip under his wing and proceeded to teach him the art of preparing continental cuisine. During his years under Dieter, Adam learned the importance of quality ingredients, great service, appealing presentation and inviting atmosphere. Dieter retired in 2008. The establishment is now under the ownership of Jennifer Young Taggart. In tandem with the loyal and dedicated staff: who collectively have over 100 years service at The Glass Chimney, Jennifer works to maintain the tradition that defines this classic institution.
